Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Seem a rare tractor, anyone got one here? what they like?

    2wd version here since 1999. Great tractor. Very simple machine. There is 14000 hrs on it now. Engine never touch but starting to get smokey now so may need be look at in the next few years. A few clutches gone into it alright in that Time but in farness it has done alot of clutch work as the pedal is as smooth as glass. Maybe we were just lucky with ours. It has always been serviced on time with good oil been used.

    not much comfort in them they say?

    wonder what a 4wd 1997 one is worth with 8100 genuine hrs on it

    Its a tractor from the 90s so comfort levels of that era. In fairness they are not bad comfort wise as the have a long wheel base.
    Value would depend on the overhaul condition but id say 10 to 12k.

    Have a 1995 one here, tanco 968 loader on front which is small for this tractor. Only do light work with it really but do like it, needs starter to be done as it grinds alot when trying to start at times (other times is perfect) so likely caused by wear on the gear of the starter. Good tractor overall though, small things like brake and clutch servos can go from time to time but they easy to fix. Check arou d local for a dealer who stocks parts but parts can all be got for them. Fond of the heat in winter to get started but always has started.

    You can get a new starter for it for 175 euro and you won't ever need to heat again. Find Conaty great for parts and delivery is next day if you order before 11

    We put a high speed starter on ours & its a great job
