Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    It's should be cyclist/pedestrian hit by motorist. Cars don't just cruise around by themselves, someone needs to be at the wheel.

    EDIT: - Yes, I know, a car can have it's handbrake let off and move by itself, but in most cases there's a driver.

    The "cyclist/pedestrian hit by car" is correct. The motorist didn't hit them. If the motorist did, then your headline would be correct.
