    Hi,

I would appreciate your help with the following. I have written a couple of books and am in the process of setting them up for publishing on Kindle Direct Publishing. I live in Ireland and, while setting up the Amazon/KDP account, I am stuck at the point where I am asked for either a US TIN (Tax Identification Number) or, if a non-US citizen, an irish Tax number.

Do I need to call revenue for such a number? I am new to this and am anxious to get things right from the outset. I do know that, unless this part of the process is correct, Amazon withhold 30% of royalties.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

    Kind Regards,

    Paul
