Did that car not see the big red light in front of them? Did he hit them, or even come close to doing so?

No, of course not, but I kinda meant without a dash cam evidence. Question becomes a bit redundant when you introduce a dash-cam to it.

Without a dashcam or witness, van driver says you rear-ended him and you've little hope of proving otherwise.

Got a dashcam for xmas.
My first upload. The date is wrong, quality isn't the best.... but anyway...

Never posted a youtube video here - so hoping this works:

Impatient L-driver changes lane without looking, taxi performs illegal u-turn & prick runs red light.

A guy entered the Mill Centre car park in the exit lane going too fast and didn't pay attention to traffic around him. It annoyed me greatly. You can also see the after effects of a crash on a jeep on the right side of the screen.

To say they look dodgey would be an understatement.

I admit I was slow on the brakes as I couldn't see the other car pulling out and wrongly presumed the white van would make a quick exit with no traffic ahead of them

(Sorry JC!)
The fact that you had sufficient time/distance to stop would suggest that if you did impact into the van you would be liable

I had a passenger in the car with me who had some things to say about the guy, there is a reason there is no audio on the video....

I always have to check your Drogheda videos in case I'm in them

That stretch at the lighthouse / entrance to Lidl can be seriously dodgy for pedestrians. I see cars regularly going down the inside of cars waiting to turn right into Lidl and there can be a good chance of meeting someone running or walking a dog etc.
