Certainly seems to be, the more you think about it...Qatar....fûck...and moving the competition lock stock and barrel to the middle of winter, discommoding football, supporters, the world over, right before Christmas... he and FIFA can fûck right off...the last person considered was the genuine football fan... this decision too runs roughshod over leagues, clubs and associations the planet over, a purebread cûnt and there will be many more like him for sure.

Is there time to change the host last time the host was changed was 86 when Colombia pulled out as they could not afford to host and that was in 82, with Mexico being confirmed then in 83 as the new host giving them 3 years to get ready since it was 16 years since they had hosted it before.

Yeah there are definitely countries with the infrastructure to do one at 3 years notice for sure.

Can’t see it moving though.

Can't see it moving. Can you imagine the strings that Qatar will pull at levels far beyond just football organisations to ensure that any possibility of moving it would be shut down? It's wrong, it stinks, but it's a done deal.

Money on Spain, England, France or Germany. Though Brexit and Euro24 might scupper that to an extent.

Or Australia if they're wedded to the timing in December.

Don't forget the 86 world cup was meant to be in Colombia and the awarding to Mexico only took place in 83.

So there's still time.

Literally just posted that and didn't see yours.

The precedent shows it can be done.

It goes a lot lower than that. Look at our own FAI, look at the people who defended Delaney because he presented them with a novelty cheque for €5k and made sure he got in again.

Aye, there's lads running grassroots leagues every bit as crooked as Delaney, Platini etc they just don't garner as much attention to enable change.
