Probably be asked before but when the draw for the next show is taking place why is there no postage stamps on any of the tickets?

Probably to make the envelopes all the same, and less likely to be "rigged"

The envelopes you see aren't straight from the post office. They are opened before the show to verify they are 3 star tickets and about 100 are randomly drawn to be put in new envelopes and put in the drum.

Yip and its a farce. If you pay your 3euro for a ticket and get the 3 stars there's a chance you aint even in the barrel if they choose only 100 for the drum. Surely everyone should be in the draw not just a random 100

Yes thought the same every ticket should be included in the drum

So instead of narrowing it down from 10,000 (or whatever amount they get weekly) to 100 to fit in the usual drum for the tv show and then pick 5

They roll out a massive drum with 10,000 in it and still pick 5

It's the same odds of your ticket being one of the lucky 5

Assuming they do everything above board and are genuinely random then the odds would be the same however I'd say it's more of an image thing:

You look at that drum and think, "Huh, that's all that's in the draw this week? I'm in with a chance." Whereas if they put all the tickets in the drum for that week and you saw quite how many you were genuinely up against you might be more inclined to say "Feic that for a game of soldiers"

Completely as a tangent, I know someone who's mother used to do the scratchies. She got a 3 stars and said she'd wait until she had a few more and send them all in together in order to improve her chances...... She got about 5 or 6 and decided to send these all in at the same time........... In the same envelope. lol.

    Cúpla Ceist.

On Winning Streak, do the tickets left in the drum be entered into any other draws or are they discarded?

When a ticket with three stars is entered, is it for the next week only?
