Friend groups/Communities in NY

My husband and I moved to NY last year. He had just received his work authorisation when COVID hit, it's been challenging trying to find work in the current climate and make friends. While we have American & International friends like us, it'd be great to meet Irish folks, to watch games, go for a pint (and food) or just to learn about different experiences and challenges. We're in our mid-30s and live in Manhattan.

Any online/offline group recommendations, rugby, GAA, or even football?

Hi there, the national job figures are back on the rise after this mess, I just want to wish everyone who is struggling the best, I hope we can keep the progress up and a drop in the ocean can raise all boats.

We have lots of people who arnt on a boat claiming that turning on the wave pool will make everybody equal but thats not how real life works. Maybe try get aboard something is what I say to them.
