Imagine claiming to be a Democrat and then out of the other side of your mouth make a statement like that. What is wrong with third party candidates other than the fact that they will, democratically, take votes from the candidate that you want to win?

I am assuming that anyone in the US can run for President. However the optics of this could be taken as African American Trump supporter stands as a means of siphoning off African American support from Trump's opponent.

If Kanye West is actually going to run, has he a platform to run? Policies? A vision for America?

Four years in power, two with control of both houses and Donald Trump still talks about Making America Great Again. What's he been doing for his first term?

The bible promotes hard work and providing for your family. Money is the medium for exchange of value between people. Yes Trump supports the capitalist system, it allowed America to become a great nation, but he also understands there is a higher power, one greater than the material possessions this world brings.

He could have retired and played out his remaining days on a golf course somewhere, but instead he is giving back to the American nation. He has to take on the evil controlling the media and all the false attacks against him. America has been in decline for a long time. People are lost, drugs and crime everywhere, satanic music, sinful agendas, greed, pride, and all the excesses of the devil. Working hard, doing well in life and putting your trust in God is not a negative. We pass through this world and the devil gives us many temptations along the way.

Talking sh1te about the bible again despite your hero breaking every single rule in the book. You claim to be religious but are oblivious to basic teaching like the story of Zachaus but Trump gets a pass because he's a capitalist. With reasoning like yours it easy to see how you justify supporting human waste like Trump and dressing him up as some deity.

I would describe him as more of a vulture or disaster capitalist as well.

Except that the disaster capitalists you hear about, are actually successful.
The #IMPOTUS is a disaster, is all. Personally, professionally, politically.

Wouldn't be his biggest fan but....

Personally: I dunno, obviously I know nothing about his private life but is married to a stunner, filthy rich and living a charmed life. Has the support of family (publicly at least) and against all odds, managed to have semi decent approval ratings before the pandemic.

Professionally:. Before his presidency, yes a lot of his projects went bankrupt but again, he was one of the most well known names in the world. He made his name into a brand. A brand that was recognised globally.

Politically:. He's the president of America.

Even if you disagree with him on every level, to call him unsuccessful is a little bit of a lie

Disaster capitalists usually make billions from extreme events. Trump made a disaster of his inheritance

You must have your Nate silvers confused. The FiveThirtyEight model on Election Day had trump at about a 30% odd of winning. I fail to see the problem.

What will happen if his poll numbers keep going down? They've already chosen him as the candidate.

    Not technically.

The GOP doesn’t coronate him as their party nominee until late August.

He’s a pretty successful con man.

His business empire almost collapsed a few times and only survived because he was extended credit by Russian and Saudi banks. He made his name into a brand, ok, but what did the brand stand for?

That's how the left lost the last time, nothing but negativity, vote for me I'm not Trump won't win an election as Hillary found out.

Still keep it up it's playing right into his strategy, people want positivity, a better future, a safer environment for their families, they'll vote for who's offering it. Joe has no hope, he's offering nothing, defund the police, support blm, wokies might buy that but a lot of people won't. Where's the outrage for the 7yr old shot dead in the head yesterday, Trump offering help to get the city under control, that's what people want, safety, order and more money in their pockets at the end of the day.

    I fail to see how.

He stuck his name on all manner of silly nonsense that went belly up. He was born with the mother of all silver spoons in his mouth so he's never had to work. He's been involved in all manner of scams from Trump University to various housing developments that turned out to be false advertising. He's not paid workers, he's screwed over contractors and he's tried to use America's broken legal system to silence criticism.

Somehow, he even managed to bankrupt casinos. According to David Cay Johnson, the governor of Atlanta was going to strip them of their licences when the creditors were looking to take them as collateral so they had no choice but to stand down. He's been linked to multiple organised crime families in New York.

And as for getting elected president, it's a two party system. The Democrats put up the worst possible candidate and she still won the popular vote. If the British ran the same sort of broken system in 2016, Brexit might not have happened.

He's a deceitful, narcissistic, hateful moron who happens to be a half decent snake oil peddler who just happened to tell angry white people what they wanted to hear. All that was needed then was for the rest of the GOP voters to pinch their noses while many Democrat voters just stayed home.

Hillary was the worst possible candidate? I remember a lot of people and nearly all the media thinking it was a home run for Hillary. Now she was the worst possible pick???
Same strategy then, put up the worst possible candidate, winning in the polls again, we all know how this movie ends.

Have you actually read any of policy documents Biden has produced? He doesn't support defunding the police.

He has fairly well thought out policies and is actually campaigning on the issues. You're ignoring that.

She won the popular vote and, I don't know.... People just didn't think the American public would vote for a man who ridiculed veterans and the disabled, was an open racist and xenophobe, peddled conspiracy theories and bragged about grabbing women by their genitals. Boy did I call that one wrong.

Even the mockers and the godless will be accountable to God when their time is up in this world and ye will have a very long time to reflect on how ye behaved and the decisions made while here.

There's currently over a hundred thousand people dead as a result of a pandemic. He's continually downplayed the crisis and gone as far as claiming masks are politically correct. That's not a safer environment that he's offering.

The shooting of the seven year old is tragic but I'm lost in relation to what Trump has done to prevent such a situation. It just seems like you're picking a random messed up case and blaming liberals for it.

Here's a fact. If Trump is re-elected, the world will not be a safer place for families. Climate change will ensure that.

Can't suffer from climate change and automation if you follow Dr. Trump's recommendations on disinfectant.

Yeah because biden is going to ensure the capital markets push a huge amount of money into renewal energy and climates change. People don't care about these issues as we would all prefer to invest in food delivery companies and what other bull**** consumer items we dont need. These two guys are puppets who won't change anything. It's the same with healthcare, look how much money is flowing into these sectors nothing, compared to all the other bs companies and sectors out there. It's laughable if you think biden will be good for climate change.

This was you in Politics an hour ago:

It's incredible what the likes of trump has managed to achieve with finally waking people up to the nonsense that is globalisation. what he has achieved is only the start. Everything works in cycles.

A bit inconsistent that on the one hand, he's a puppet who will do nothing, but at the same time, he has achieved incredible stuff.

  • Registered Users Posts: 976 ✭✭✭greenfield21

Yes on climate change capital allocation is far more important. In terms of the pros and cons of globalisation, yes I think trump has opened a huge can of worms and we are only seeing the beginning of this.

It's a two horse race. Biden makes the right noises on climate change whereas Trump believes it's fake news. If you are concerned about climate change, which of the two should you vote for? Unless you are a Kanye West supporter of course.

What left? The Clinton's certainly are not left wing. If they both ran as Republicans they would be hailed as heroes of the conservative cause but because they run as Dems they are viewed as the worst people on Earth.

And negativity was Trump and Republicans entire campaign.

Did you forget Hillary dying, emails, Benghazi, corrupt Foundation (even though it's rated A++), 96 million unemployed, Muslims, Mexicans are destroying our country/economy etc etc

Pretty sure you haven't watched one second of a Biden speech or debate.

Trump is the most negative person to ever hold office ffs.

Right now he is in an imaginary war with the radical left. He thinks a big group of his fellow Americans are somehow conspiring against him lol.

He was also bailed out by the Russian mob, many of whom were buying his apartments for cash. A loophole in New York regulations meant you did not have to disclose who the owner was and where the money came from. Honest Don hoovered it up.
