Any chance of getting CCTV footage covering the car park, and following the muppet.

That's a sickener. She's a beauty. Those XJ40s have really grown on me.

Lovely indeed 12 month restoration? It would be interesting to hear some history on the car and also details on the restoration.

I bought it from a well known renault guy in Kilkenny about 7-8 years ago.

Has had two 'restorations'....
I did a major mechanical in 2015 -->
new water pump, belts
reconditioned alternator
reconditioned distributor
new points, coil, leads etc
new clutch

Last year, did the body restoration - mostly doors, jacking points, suspension, full paint and new interior !

Dublin car (north county) and mostly lived in Lusk and Clontarf....

Service stamps on the inside of the bonnet and Padre Pio sticker in back window.... so all bases covered

Excellent stuff, that Renault is just brilliant. Eric Leonard motors has only just closed down recently. The showroom is currently for sale.

Had a black Gordini 1.6 over the years. It had a renault 16 gearbox as the original was damaged. Lovely seats and nippy. Think it had a w\twin choke weber or solex. Cant remember
