any regular jazz and blues gigs in Dublin?

    I used to visit JJ Smyths most weeks and there was always some outstanding gigs (The Brian Meakin Band keep jumping to mind).

    JJ's changed hands and doesnt do so much music and googling doesn't turn up anywhere new.

    Are there any decent live music bars in Dublin that Im just not finding?

    Keep an eye on "Arthurs" on Thomas St. Great blues and jazz there from time to time. See link below.

    There used to be a regular blues gig on Sunday upstairs at the International Bar
    Not sure if it's still happening

    Plenty.... Monday Leeson Lounge. Tuesdays Artjus blues folk jam
    Wednesdays The Globe
    Thursday's Frank Ryans Smithfield.
    Friday Orchard Stillorgan, usually Arthurs.
    Yes international Sunday's early evening... try Brian Boru or Arthurs a couple of hours later...off the top of my head.

    The Best Gigs in Dublin?

    Thursday 9.30: Left Right & Centre at Frank Ryans of Queen Street, Smithfield.
    Wednesday 9.30: Los Paradaiso at The Leeson Lounge,
    Friday 9.30: The Patriots Inn, Kilmainham for great Blues Bands.
    Any night: Arthurs of Thomas Street for great Blues or Jazz.
