Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Done it for a while, good pay if you can stick it out.
    €420 per weekend IIRC

    2 12 hour shifts 9am to 9pm (Saturday and Sunday) rotates to 9pm to 9am( Friday night, Saturday night) every second weekend.

    If true,

    Unless you have serious experience I doubt they'd even look at you.

    Just consider all the manufacturing companies gone under

    Either inspecting the lenses and packing them or else working on the line making trays of lenses, which is mostly automated but an empty tray needs to be put in after 100 lenses.

    Both being very monotonous

    EDIT: forgot to mention its a cleanroom environment meaning you're required to wear a white coat and hair net while on the workshop floor.

    I was there for 9 years and got out of it :) They took on 95 or so for weekends a few months ago.
