Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Looking for an evaluation on a bar or two

    Hi,

    I have on behalf of a relative, 2 or 3 spare bars and some iron weights. The weights are brand new and taken out of individual plastic just last week. But of a surprise to have these stored in a attic never used, but still! Clear out is being done and want rid. I took what I wanted and have attached picture below of the left over for sale.

    I have no idea how much they are worth. Could anyone give an honest estimate?

    Also have YB brand irons.

    4 x 2.5kg
    6 x 1.25kg
    6 x 0.5kg

    Probably in the ballpark of €45 for a bar plus the plates. Argos has a similar barbell set totalling 35kg with two dumbbell handles also and selling at €75.

    You have 20.5kg of plates and a light bar. No dumbbell handles so less versatility than the Argos set.

    Yeah I robbed the dumbbell bars and other weights for myself. The rest is little or no use to me.

    That’s a much better bar that the one you get in the cheap barbel sets. The cheaper bars are not great

    Weights: 35euro
    Cheap bar 10-15 euro
    Spinlock bar 30
