Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    rain finally clearing here, lots of surface water after a very wet day. If this was January/February we would be under a lovely blanket of white gold. What a waste of cold. Bring on Spring/Summer.

    Very thankful the cold and wind have eased. Still chilly but with the windchill factor gone, life becomes bearable again.

    Lost some broad bean plants but the others were where the north wind could not get them.

    Have been either in or right at the edge of a sleet/Graupel train all night in North Kildare. Looks like Gonzo had been in it pretty much non stop all night. Between the heavy precipitation all yesterday evening and last night's sleep and Graupel, had it been a couple of degrees colder, I'd say I'd be heading for double digit inches of snow depth at my location.
