Sounds a bit like ball lightning. My Granny was chased around the house by ball lightning, that decided to come down the chimney, and only prevented it from killing her by jumping into a pond out the back.

Ball lightning only last a few seconds, a scientifically sound measurement.

This odd kind of plasma phenomena is interesting if they can just capture it to understand. Maybe not capture it, but to understand its making.

No point in blaming Santa Claus all the time.

The Moon. Ever look at the Moon through a telescope.
I did.I have to say it's a bit bloody boring, really not much to see.
Telescopes are bought specifically to look at the Moon.My advice is save your cash.

Unless of course youre David Icke ...

In which case youre looking at something so much more interesting than just a dusty old mass of rock!

Just over an hour from now, at 2:56am on July 21, will mark the exact 50th anniversary that Neil Armstrong on the Apollo 11 mission became the first person to walk on the Moon.

This was a momentous occasion in the history of humankind. It is in our very human nature to explore, to leave our Earthly cradle, to expand our horizons

The next step is Mars. Let's go there.

    Bright ideas for the Moon.

Cover the bright side with mirrors so we could look at ourselves, the reflection would also give us permanent light at night via light from the Sun! Use the dark side of the moon as a massive rubbish tip. Build a Moon base and use the moon as a launch pad to Mars! > Install gravity portoloos, moon WiFi too.... pluse a small Centra or Tesco Express.
Anyone remember the moon buggy? (It's still there I guess), so they would need to make many more of them and then charge visitors to use them while taking Moon holidays!
Keep the moon special, so no terraforming the moon's atmos - I'd keep terraforming for Mars, but that's another trip away.....

Judoon on the moon to keep the peace.

    The Moon
Is a lock of witch's hair,
    Tawny, and golden, and red.
And the night winds stand and stare
    At a strand from a witch's head.
