I like the look of Astronereus each way in the 15:45 at Goodwood today. Currently around 8/1. Dropped in class today. Won a listed race over this distance lto and up 5 lbs. The move up to 14f suited well and should finish strong again here today.
Also each way, Al's Memory in the 14:55 at Wolverhampton. Ran a good 2nd last week off same mark. 3 lb claimer on board who has had two winners in the past week. First run over 7f. If sees out the mile should go very close. 6/1 generally

I am going to follow Sousa today

    Mutamid 6/5
    Subversive 11/4
    Classic Image 5/1

Do a trixie on these bad boys :)

I like the look of CONFESSIONAL 4.20 12/1. Has run well here in the past and on his lowest mark for 4 years. Last win was off a mark of 94 and runs off 88 today.

Any confidence in Taro Tywod so? I have her backed already. Down to a mark of 65 and De Sousa on board

It is hardly original but surely Valac is a "good thing" today at Galway. On the face of it he looks to be disappointing so far with two seconds and a third but looking more closely at this form and he was beaten by Hans Holbein (went on to win at Chester and ran in the Derby), Cradle Mountain (hardened handicap horse now with some good form behind him) and then Sir Isaac Newton who was desperately unlucky at Royal Ascot. Also he has since been gelded and the visor is applied tonight to eke out any extra little bit of improvement in him. Unyielding is unexposed and could be anything but I'd be very disappointed if Valac was to be beaten at 6/4.

Taro Tywod should run a good race but I think Splash Of Verve is a real danger here and has been a non runner at Carlisle on Sunday. I hope Taro does win for you. He is on a great mark and a top jockey too.

Have your left bollock on Farquhar in the 3.45 at Goodwood, 15/2.

If he's beaten, you can move to Thailand and live a new life

Haha! Fair enough he does look a bit like that so far but if he can't win tonight I don't think he ever will get his head in front.

I have watched it 4/5 times now, and still cannot fathom how Twin Sails didn't end up placed there at Goodwood.

    Not Buick's finest ride there.

Ted Durcan's on Top Tug in the 2:00 was ten times worse. Snatched up 5 or 6 times, finished like a train and om the bridle! Brutal ride.

Al's Memory almost got up. Sp was 10/1! :)

Ted Durcan is an awful jockey a bit like Rab Havlin. I would never back a horse either of them are riding.

    Aussie Valentine 18-1 ew 6.50
I like it's place chances here, should compete.

    Our Joock 14-1 ew 7.50
Very consistent this one. I think it's a great ew shout
Has won every race its finsihed first in.
    Nice value at 14-1

  • Registered Users Posts: 35,341 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

    Harariban 14-1 ew 8.20
Has run some good races this year, never far off the winners
Again I think it's a good ew bet considering it's potential to win.
