Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Hi all
    Just getting my first tea into myself.
    Lived in England for a while and still in touch with a few people nearly every day.
    A friend told me our friend has been at a major industrial fire since the early hours. There are large quantities of gas cylinders involved. He felt the explosions through the ground, 3 or 4 miles away. Every unit and crew from every surrounding town is there.
    I get cold chills on my back when things like this happen, same as when I hear of a major incident here people close to me might be sent to. I've no doubt she'll be fine, she's very capable.
    It's a reminder to me anyway that a boring and uneventful day might be something to be grateful for.

    Had to laugh at "animals who refuse to be photographed by bolgbui" :)

    I love cows & their long eyelashes!
    I was terrified of them when I moved here first, I remember getting stuck up a tree for hours once after a load of cows broke into the field I was in!
    Someone eventually came looking for me :)
    City child!

    I want to clear out some of the kitchen presses and rearrange things. Got quite a bit done yesterday so I should finish it now. Yep I should....

    Ugh.. as my gran would say though... 'it's a lazy sort of day.'
