    Talk about arrogance!

Former Galway player on TSG at half time was discussing Galway taking one of inters who is sub on seniors off to rest her for the big game.

They were seven up on Westmeath who won by two in the end.

Hubris. Brilliant win for the Westies, Hats off to them.

What is the deal with that? No sound on Rte 1 or 2 but there is on Rte +1

Great final. If Galway defenders stop fouling, kilkenny will struggle to score. Kilkenny have a very porous defence, conceded 3 goals and should gave been 5.
Awesome puckouts by Galway, kilkenny cant win primary ball at all.

Couldn't be much worse than ger canning - he said "a free kick" in the intermediate camogie final.

Congrats to Kerry for winning junior.

(That's being nice to Kerry finished now, and just in case my mother is eavesdropping.)

    Great games today.

Delighted with the Galway win. They fought hard in the second half and the goal that kilkenny needed never materialised.

3 final losses in a row now for Kilkenny !!!

Some great skill and athleticism on show in Croker today.

    A most enjoyable game.

KK have now lost 8 of their last 9 finals.

Galway were that bit slicker and the kk full back line were a mess.

Seems Kilkenny have a mental block when it comes to Croke Park

Women's football final attendance might suffer next week over the Dublin/Kerry game the night before. Was thinking of heading in but probably won't now. Although that might depend on what happens on Saturday.

would expect it to be down with Cork not involved but I see they are selling tickets for the upper Cusack. as you say, a win for Dublin on Saturday could bring a large following on the Sunday

A lot might depend on the persuasive powers of young girls over hungover and possibly disappointed parents!

To be honest if the chaps lose on Sunday, I doubt I be in much humour to even watch on TV.

    no mention of opponents yet.

    Underdogs 2019

TG4’s legendary GAA series ‘Underdogs’ is back and is putting a brand-new team of footballers together. A group of men who have enough skill, athleticism, and dedication to take on one of the best Gaelic football teams in the country.
This year the management team will have a new line-up, including; former Kerry Captain and former Kerry Manager Mickey Ned O’ Sullivan, Gaoth Dobhair legend and former Donegal Footballer Kevin Cassidy and former Cork Ladies Footballer Valerie Mulcahy will be back on the sideline.
The Management team have to put a panel of footballers together that have the potential to take on an inter-county team within a few months. The only rule is that these players can never have played Gaelic football at a senior inter-county championship level.
Each week Management will have to drop one or more of the players from the Underdogs camp, as only 28 can come with them to play the ultimate challenge match at the end of October.
