Updated my 8 tonight. I might be imagining it, but my phone seems a bit snappier since I updated

Has anybody had any app issues since installing iOS 12.1.1? I'm having issues with the Outlook app, I am getting two notifications for every email that I get

Looks like 12.1 2 is officially out for iPhone at least.

Seems it's main point is fixing a bug with eSIMs in the recent models.

Edit: Might only be available on iPhone yet. Just updated my iPhone 7 to 12.1.2 before posting, but nothing showing for my iPad Pro Wi-Fi 10.5 or iPod touch 6 which say they have latest on 12.1.1. I'm not on any beta versions or never have been, so it should be the final build that installed on my phone. It's build 16C101 according to the settings app.

pretty much every day audio quality is much better than standard phone calls, twice/three times daily when I'm travelling.

    Yes, it's very popular.

My wife often travels for work and we use it regularly then. It's nicer than a voice call.

I'd imagine people with family abroad use it an awful lot too.

So you use the face time audio and not the video call ?.
I guess I should have said it was the video call I was referring to.

I would assume whats app video calling etc may have taken a bit from facetime users as well

I'll use video if the hotel wifi is strong enough, otherwise I'll fall back to audio, if it can't hold that I just fall back to a plain old phone call.

Same as above, we really only use it when either of us are away.

Or when we're at home and the dogs are doing something funny....(sad eh?)

12.2 (16E5191d) on the iPod Touch.

On another note, I picked up a new work phone today - now have a 6s rather than 5s. I restored via iCloud, all settings fine. It's running 12.1.4 (16D57). Only thing is certain apps are stuck and won't update. I can't recall if they were on the previous phone - Garageband, Keynote, Numbers, iTunes U, etc...all not updated since last Nov/Dec. I've removed Garageband - offload unused apps...maybe do the same for the others.
