Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Amazon Prime Video launches in Ireland today. What subscription companies do you use?

I think I'll try Amazon Prime Video for the 6 month trial at 2.99 a month. If the library is even half decent it'll be worth the €18. What subscription type companies do you pay money to? Just Netflix and Spotify here which I think is enough. There are times between new seasons of their original shows when in fact Netflix…

Netflix is the only one I use. But I will probably sign up to Xbox Live soon

I think older people (35+) are from a generation that expected to be able to get everything for free on the internet, younger people happily sign up for subscription websites if they provide a good service.
It's great being able to think of a song, launch spotify and listen to it on my phone when I'm out and about
