there is absolutely no reason to demean petrol pump attendants like that.

I wish to apologize to any fuel injection engineers, I may have offended with that comment.

Your sisters first boyfriend with a car is still the best description I've heard of Hancock.

He is outrageously out of his depth as a cabinet minister of a large economy.

**** it, resigning myself to the fact that embedding only works about 30% of the time on this site

Haven't been following this story but apparently a data scientist attempted to whistle blow in relation to covid data in Florida being intentionally misreported by state government. She may have broken the law but it's a non violent crime.

Her home was raided by the police which she was able to record on camera. It's quite shocking to be honest:

par for the course here. the cops are caring less and less about optics and are openly acting like the scum gangs they are without fear of consequences. it’s direct state retaliation against a whistleblower. Jones just accurately reported coronavirus numbers. she’s incredibly lucky that she’s white or they probably would have just shot her dead in front of her kids and wrote it off as a “violent mental episode”.

not really surprising since they’re still locking up Chelsea Manning whenever they feel like it.

Sat down with a cup of coffee and turned on the tele. Tommy Bowe is presenting the breakfast programme on virgin and he's telling the other host that he bought his wife a hoover last Christmas.
He might have been a great winger but his credibility is gone after hearing this drivel.

Great snap up on Twitter. Not sure if Barnier and Von Der Leyen look fed up or just embarrassed having to entertain two absolute muppets.

I know there are a few tech heads here as I've seen a few of ye post about pc/laptop builds.
If I wanted to get a laptop with very specific specs (high performance, for editing 4K video) where would be a good place to get quotes? Got a pile of money to spend on video cameras and editing equipment but it has to be spent by year end, so mad scramble to get 3 quotes for everything to fulfil procurement rules.

For the tech heads, looking for 64gb RAM, Intel 7th gen or better, 1tbSSD, high performance graphics card - 4GB VRAM would be the main requirements.

Can anyone recommend a good headset for gaming?

Prefer over ear headphones that can be used wirelessly and plugged in if they run out of juice?

    Budget of about €200

    TIA :)

    Bought these very recently: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01MYW8COY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Decent enough. First time I've tried wireless and I couldn't go back.

I'm buying 4 of these for a team, and none currently use Macs or are familiar with the OS, so prefer to stick with Windows. All our agency's IT architecture is built for Windows too, or so IT have told me, but basically it would be a PITA both for users and IT to invest in Macs...

Can't speak for the others, but I've never played a computer game in my life, if you exclude Solitaire!

Think with video editing it more comes down to what software you're more comfortable with, final cut pro or Adobe premiere.

More bang for the buck to be gotten with the AMD processors, something like a Ryzen 5 5600x, AMD 6800 graphics card, b550 motherboard. Although the CPU and GPU are almost impossible to get your hands on atm a bit like the ps5/xbox series x.

Currently using these, and I have no problems, really like them. Kingston’s HyperX Cloud series is also pretty good.

Got myself a pair of these about 18 months ago and haven't regretted it for a minute. Great sound quality, excellent battery life. They cant run off a headphone jack if out of battery but can be used while charging, I've even used them while charging with a battery pack.

Best thing for me is they Very comfortable and lightweight. I can wear them for hours on end without getting irritated by them or having that phantom headset feeling afterwards.

Wireless for xbox & PC, there's a PS version aswell, though its possibly all the same as they come with a USB wireless receiver.

Comes with a Dolby Atmos voucher code aswell to get the Atmos app (think its about €15) that works on any stereo headphones connected to the console/pc, very impressive surround sound from it.

Really need a new headset, have been using my Sony WH-1000X2s with my PC but I don't like wearing them for long periods of time, they aren't comfortable after a while.

Is this for the actual video editing software which Apple make?

I have a set of Astro A50s. The Astro stuff in general is excellent, very comfy to wear.

Nah, Adobe's Premiere Pro, I think.

Are you looking for a few websites that people would normally use to buy laptops/pcs? I think this crowd are fairly well known for custom built laptops if that's what you're after:

    https://www.pcspecialist.ie/build-your-own-laptop/

Amazon would be the big one for pre built stuff but scan.co.uk do a good bit of supplying to businesses too I think
