Bose Sleep Buds

    Hi All

    I was considering buying the Bose Sleep buds to help me to sleep as the noise from the apartment above me is so bad. Has anyone any experience with these?

    Some initial negatives & positives would be as follows:

    Negatives
    1. High cost (€280 approx)
    2. I have heard the battery goes after a month
    3. Cant play music on them only the Bose pre loaded sounds
    4. No active noise cancellation

    Positives
    1. Comfortable to wear at night
    2. Built in alarm

    I also wonder if the bose sleep buds can be programmed to start sounds at a particular time of night

    I have the other Bose quiet comfort earphones but they are not comfortable to wear in bed

    I really need to block out the sound as my neighbour is a postman and is awake every day at 5am.

    Has anyone used any other earbuds or technology to cancel out sound from above?

    I just use an app on my phone (Relax & Sleep) and a Bluetooth speaker in the bedroom. I play a combination of brown noise, white noise and an air conditioner sound on an all night timer. I play it pretty loud but as it's a constant sound it actually helps me sleep. It fades out a few minutes before my alarm. If I wake up and it's playing I know to go back to sleep.

    I spend a lot of nights in hotels and I just use it all the time. As it's familiar I sleep well anywhere.

    I initially started using it because of noisy upstairs neighbours.

    @killbillvol 2 - cheers for the tip. I tried that last night - would you leave your blutooth speaker on charge for the full night

    It works ok - my only worry is if my neighbour thinks it is too loud.
    Does anyone have any experience of the Bose Sleep buds - or any other technology that could solve this issue

    am also interested in the sleepbuds but I wake up a few times most nights and wonder if the pre loaded sounds would be annoying to wake up to, I understand they would be useful for falling asleep though but not sure about using them throughout the whole nite.

    Good set of pillows help a lot https://www.soakandsleep.com/bedroom/pillows along with a decent duvet, we've been using a bavette for a good while, never too hot or cold, https://www.baavet.co.uk/

    All clock in under the bose...

    My speaker lasts more than 10 hours on a charge so I charge it every second night if I'm not using it for anything else.

    Good luck finding a solution!

    I was addled from a new baby in the house and that had forgotten how to sleep, used it for about 4/5 nights and was fine then again. I think it does help a lot in getting a good deep sleep if your out of sync.
