Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Went to buy a few new sets and see that product packaging has changed.

I have sworn by these for the best part of the last decade.

You can still buy the old packaging strings.

Hopefully not a "new and improved" type thing..

Anyone in the know?

Put a set on this morning.
Don’t seem as good as old ones.
Treble strings ringing a bit dull or dead and harmonics don’t seem as good.

B and E string seem lesser quality than before.
