If you hit the six it counts but you have to run so you can still get run out off the net and lose everything. It's basically a game of hit and run.
We won by a single run tonight on the last ball which was sweet. Quite happy with my bowling figures of 4 wickets for -4 runs off 2 overs (you lose 5 runs per wicket).

Some 'mainly' AFL related stuff - if you have any other resources, let me know! Taste is personal - don't shoot me for listening to any of these... this post is simply a 'brain dump'! (All times are BST):
- By far the best I've come across is Triple M's The Rub (Fri from 9am, Sat from 3am, Sun from 1am). Pure footy with a large helping of ego! As you probably already know, the footy commentary isn't available on 'normal' radio streams, but is available (as of now) on rtsp://bptvlive.ngcdn.telstra.com/online-radio-afl_12 & mms://wm9.streaming.telstra.com/ucs-wh_afl0live12. Changing the number ('12') at the end of these footy call streams gives alternative channels... apparently! Best option for The Rub on Sat & Sun is the podcast at http://austereo.castmetrix.com/rss/162129586585338457 (unless you're an AFL-lovin' insomniac
) BTW, the 'mms' stream above works beautifully with the TuneIn radio app on iPhone...
- Triple M Rush Hour (Mon-Thu, 7am-9am with Billy Brownless & James Brayshaw) (LIVE - http://sc.mel.triplem.com.au, POD - http://austereo.castmetrix.com/rss/162129586585338454) - a bit of AFL here; interviews, news, reviews etc. intertwined with music & banter.
- Triple M Hot Breakfast podcast (LIVE - http://sc.mel.triplem.com.au, POD - http://austereo.castmetrix.com/rss/162129586585338423) - only 'some' AFL stuff here but I think it's an interesting podcast anyway (if you're not an Eddie Maguire fan, then stay clear).
- 3AW have Sports Today on Mon-Thu from 9am to 11am (POD - http://www.3aw.f2.com.au/Podcast/Feeds/01.xml) - it's a bit lifeless but is decent for a long journey. There can be some problems listening live - only was I can listen is to create a blank text document called 3aw.asx and paste the following;

Save and open in Winamp - I can't get any other player to play this file.
- 3AW also do a 'Game Day' program (POD - http://www.3aw.f2.com.au/Podcast/Feeds/07.xml & http://www.3aw.f2.com.au/Podcast/Feeds/08.xml) - I haven't actually listened to these as I much prefer Triple M.
- AFL Footy Feast (POD - http://feeds.feedburner.com/AFL-Footy-Feast?format=xml) is the official AFL podcast - it's only OK...
- On YouTube, follow aflhighlights & FredJohnAlex. There are loads of other club specific YouTube channels - all easy to find.
As a Docker fan, the only Freo-type audio I can find is Mark Harvey's weekly interview on http://www.6pr.com.au/podcasts. It really is a pretty poor offering.
Does anyone have any good AFL media (preferrably audio) links from outside Victoria? Probably not, but worth asking...0 -
