I wasn't allowed to use my 10e aldi voucher and my 6e off 40e voucher :(
Was your €6 off a €40 spend voucher for Tesco or another shop? Did they refuse to let you use both vouchers or would they not let you use the Aldi one on its own? They have signs up (and usually leaflets at CS) saying that they accept competitor coupons. Sometimes a cashier will be unfamiliar with the policy so you need to insist and if necessary have them call over a manager.

Folks - Tesco UK have Google Chromecast normally 30GBP for 18 GBP.
Anyone know if a similar deal is being rolled out over here?

In Drogheda the Lenovo laptops are down the back on a stand just slightly to the right of the TVs, they're not priced but are scanning at €199.

There's 2 or 3 blaupunkt TVs on the end of an aisle on the way down to TVs/Electricals (they are priced so will go quickly I'd say) and a good few Toshibas there too.

I scanned a laptop in mahon point and it's still at the original price, might try later.

Wilton and Ballincollig have the 50" at €349 as "managers specials". Not sure about other stores.

Lenovo bought IBMs laptop and pc division a few years ago so it's mostly IBM spec machines that they make. IBM supply their staff with Lenovo laptops. Generally they are decent quality but every manufacturer has some crap out there so YMMV.

they're great. they offered the best value for i5, 8 gig, 2gig gaming card, terrabite hd. around 700 euro last year.

I checked out reviews of the model and they don't seem great. Seems to have a sluggish performance and the screen's not meant to be great.

    Was there many laptops??

Do these offers usually last a few days? Or do they sell out pretty much straight away? Just saw this thread now! :-(

The €349 Blaupunkt 50" TV seems a particularly good deal.

Would be grateful if anyone knows if they are still available in Cork Tesco's (Mahon Point,Wilton etc)?
    Thanks!

There was a mid floor stand, so maybe a dozen at least, they weren't priced although there were tablets on the other side of it that were priced at €79 so they may get customers asking the price. The nearest scanner in the homewares/duvets aisle is out of order so I had to bring the box to the one over in the cleaning products aisle.
