Considering how badly we did in 2016 , maybe we never tried 2017!

I thought we did but just had a scan through the threads and couldn’t find one so maybe we didn’t.

A lot of boring picks for me this year I think. Going to be going with favorites nearly across the board I think. Apart from the ALE, is there any division where the favorite isn’t a sure thing?

I did go with mostly favourites too but I think the NLE, NLC, ALC and ALW could all be interesting as the year progresses. And it being baseball is there really anything that is a sure thing. Other than Mike Trout?

Maybe. It will probably be close till the break or so then I see the Cubs pulling away.

Yeah the NLE could be interesting. I don’t think anyone has enough to worry Washington but I’m interested to see how Atlanta and Philly have improved. Obviously I hope the haven’t as I need my Mets to beat them more often than not to be in the wild card running.

And I just posted my picks when I read your post and I had to laugh as I did pick against Mike Trout. That will surely come back to haunt me.

both the Phillies and the Braves look better this off season.

Its a tough division but the Nationals have so much depth.

Always have a chance. Cant see it myself though, firmly believe its in the Nats hands in the Division. And if I'm completely honest I think the Nats have the team to win it all.

All joking aside, I fully expect the Nats to the Division. If the Mets can stay relatively healthy they should push Nats and make it tight. The Marlins are in a total rebuild, so Gods knows what we'll get with them.

The Braves and the Phillies I think we'll be a lot better then last year. Honestly wouldn't be suspired if the Phillies clinched a Wildcard spot.

The Nats are my darkhorse team to win the World Series

Being a Nationals fan for so long I just want to win a series, as in a playoff series before I start thinking about anything else. I think with the rotation and depth in the roster this year plus it possibly being Bryce's last I think it all could, possibly, come together.

Phillies look like the most improved and have lots of young talent but so do Atlanta, I think though there is also the possibility that both end up being a little flat because of a lack of depth in their pitching staff. Mets have the rotation, if they can stay healthy, to cause everyone problems.

The Mets game is on 6.10 which is not a kid friendly time for someone with two young children. The plan is to watch the game back on mlb tv around 9.30 with a few tins

I usually do but this year I won’t be home until around 8:30 so will miss a good chunk of the early games.

So for the first time in years I won’t get to see the Mets open their season.
