Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Hi folks, Not as good a deal as before - hence the new thread title, but still good. 4 bottles of Franziskaner for €6. Regular bottles increased in price a while ago from €1.79 to €1.99. Seen in Wexford a while ago.

There is a new perlenbacher wheat beer in a glass bottle for €1.50 a bottle. Its pretty good tbh

Back again, the missus picked me up 8 bottles this evening, and it's showing as "4 for €6" on the receipt. If anyone is in a Lidl soon and could check the date or expiry, that would be great

The Patronus 5.5% Weissbier that is always on sale @ 1.49 a bottle in Lidl is better imo.

just prefer the taste now tbh - have tired of the banana taste of the Franziskaner - it's always available to buy a couple at a good price whenever you want so no need to rush to buy out the whole store (like some here feel the need to do!) and it also has a little bit of an extra .5% kick over the Franziskaner
