Think Lennon could do a bit of damage to Belgium tonight, if O'Connor can play his A-game then we've a chance.

Not sure about the format of this. Inviting 32 teams but then 16 of them only get one game - first to 5 legs and they are out. Just seems a bit farcical seeing as some of them are traveling large distances with no chance of winning and only giving them 1500 quid.

Think a round robin might be slightly fairer in giving them 2 or 3 chances on stage anyway.

I agree with this. Or at least use the same format as the second round to give each team more game time and a chanve to get through even if they lose the first game.

Barry Hearn is probably worried that the standard won't be high enough for a Round Robin stage.

Austria v Japan was gas last night, Suljovic looked like he was going to throttle his partner!

Have little or no time for Gurney but he took out some quality finishes in that game.

Ah lads I'm gutted. Think I would've knocked off the bottle of gin in the press if that 170 went in.

Great game there, serious quality from both teams. The 130 from DvdB won it. Unlucky Willie on the 170.

Ye, have to hand it to Van den Bergh, that 130 and then, following Lennon's 180 with a 180 in last leg too, was a killer for us....

Part is an excellent pundit. I've only been watching about 7 years of darts so I'm the same. Rooting for him.

Paul Lim beat Rob Cross last night but England squeaked through. The Dutch haven’t dropped a leg yet and the home team beat N Ireland. Set up for an interesting final day

Belgium through against England. Chizzy doesn't look half the player he was a year or two ago.
    Looks short on confidence.

What a game from Rvb and Dmitri Van den Bergh averaged 107 and 113.
