I've worked with some incredibly modest UHNW individuals, fantastic people, very down to earth. Then you come across some eejit who's making €100k a year and thinks they're special. I couldn't give a flying **** if you were in New York last week for your middle management job. Typical ****ing Irish.

That's it Balandan - type it out - type out all your rage on the keyboard.
Don't ever tell the arrogant person to their face though.
That would be rude and could be perceived as confrontational. Don't want that.
Tell us - that is what we are there for.

ultra high net worth - maybe a different kind of offensive individual in the OP!

I couldn’t care less if you were drinking in Dublin airport that time at 6 am on the way to “important meetings” but yet, you told us.

    Yeah €100k a year isn't special.
If you're not earning that by the time you hit 50 you should consider yourself a failure.

    You haven't worked abroad much.

Try a stint in Canada, London, Paris to see what it is really like.

You'd last a day there if you had a problem here with one person blowing their hole.

The single worst trait of Irish people is the need tell people where they've been or where they're going. The tiger bred a world of blowhards who'll have to let you know how many airports they've been in within about 10 minutes of meeting them.

Social media is a haven for boasters like these.
