Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Prayer for the suicidal

    Hello,

    Some years back I found a special prayer for suicidal souls; it was claimed that each invocation of the prayer would save a soul from suicide I think. I think that an Angel called 'Saint Lechitel' (I cannot remember the exact spelling) was invoked to 'raise up' souls from suicide! Can anyone on this forum tell me any more about this? Is there any chance that someone could post this prayer on the forum here?

    The Irish saint Dymphna is a patroness against mental illness. This is one prayer. There are many.

    Thanks. You can also pray a decade of the Rosary for the suicidal but some years back I got a special prayer to Angel Lectitil for the suicidal; I think it may be genuine but I lost the prayer and have not come across it since. Thanks anyway. :)
