Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    A max of 20.8C here so 4 days in a row above 20C. A slight cooling breeze in the evening but most of the day was calm and very warm again. 9.6C now, some high cloud started to appear by sunset so tomorrow isn't looking as good here

    the good news this weather could last through to the weekend
    but come monday morning the first day of the kids holidays it should be raining,:p

    Y'know, for the past five days the average minimum temp has been lower that the average minimum for January and the average maximum has been higher than the average maximum for July!

    We have been getting colder nights than the average Winter night followed by warmer days than the average Summer day :)

    If anything illustrates the sheer extent of the maritime mehness of our climate - this equinoctial blocking high pressure is it! :cool:

    A lot cooler but nice and sunny again today for the most part, cloud rolled in around 4pm to end just over a week of unbroken sunshine. Max of only 15C, very hazy with a chilly breeze

    cloud has cleared in Arklow to give pleasant sunny breaks.
    A good bit cooler than yesterday but 14c now is not to be sniffed at considering whats coming next week.
    Last of the warmish days for the time being,might hit 16 or 17c by mid afternoon if the sunny spells continue :)
