Does anyone have recommendations for decent maps and/or guides of the Killarney area of Kerry? I use Eastwest mapping for Wicklow but they don't seem to have anything covering Kerry

The OSI Adventure series Macgillycuddy's Reeks and Killarney National Park is probably your best bet. There's also a Harvey Macgillycuddy's Reeks map, which covers similar territory. You won't get anything with the level of detail of the EastWest maps for Kerry.

Guidebook wise, the various Collins Press walking guides covering Kerry are fairly comprehensive, including Adrian Hendroff's Killarney to Valentia Island - The Iveragh Peninsula and Jim Ryan's Carrauntoohil and Macgillycuddy's Reeks. Jim Ryan's Scenic Walks in Killarney covers a lot of easier walks. Kevin Corcoran's Kerry Walks (O'Brien Press) is also quite decent.

Thanks for the quick response! Have ordered the OSI map, as well as the two Jim Ryan guides, so should be set up for a nice bit of walking :)
