    Hi All

I think it will be good to highlight this problem and raise awareness of people in D15.

    http://www.leovaradkar.ie/?p=746

Phibblestown area - where i live - have been hitted few times in the last months. I haven't got a clue until my house was one of them. So be aware on any suspicious behavior and fit an extra locks !

    Regards

    MrZibi,

there's been plenty of issue's you don't need a TD to tell you what you can see around you and what others have been reporting here for some time, some threads from november up...

Do you really feel this is all a suprise to come out now? Every where in Dublin will be seeing similar things...

However I don't see reason why we shouldn't point and say about new/fresh situations if happend ? Or maybe leave it cause I won't make a difference ?

To be fair these are all threads based on peoples experiences but it's always good to see the cold hard statistics provided by the Gardai so there's nothing wrong with starting this thread.

@Drakovich, if you've a problem with a post just report it, back-seat modding can get you into hot water.;)

@MrZibi, welcome to Boards.ie and the D15 forum! Sorry to hear the problems you've had recently.
Have a quick scan around the forum before you start a new thread, as having multiple threads on the same topic isnt a great idea. More info here and here that you should read to get you used to the place.

Note also that there is a 'Neighbourhood Watch' thread stickied at the top of the forum so you could always post this type of information in there(that is where these threads will be moved to after a while anyway)

    Apologies,

Didn't intend on being out on the attack as much as i seem to of come across...

.. tend to be a bit too directly and shamelessly blunt at times.

Point I was getting at is that it's always happening around everywhere. You can't really use crime rate figures such as this to determine your view of 1 area within an entire load of area's that report the very same issues.

While also highlighting that there was plenty of awareness within the D15 forum also...

    No worries.

From what I've been reading anyway, burglaryand petty theft is on the increase all across the country. Must be the recession?

Nope, just an increase in scum due to ever decreasing parenting abilities.

Scum breeds scum and they multiply.

@Gaspode, thanks for the welcome. In future will try not to rush with new posts and have a looke more what's in here.
Scum breeds scum and they multiply.
