Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Campervan Logbook weight change

    Morning folks,
    Is it hard to get the weight of a campervan changed?
    Say camper is mistakenly down as 3600kg making you need a c1 licence but camper is only 3400kg, weighed at a weighbridge.
    Would it be hard to get it changed to the correct weight

    Is that 3400kg with full complement of driver, passengers, provisions, bikes and full tanks? Otgerwise you are 100‰ guaranteed to be overweight all the time if you have it downplated. You have tiny chance of being pulled over and weighed in Ireland but it quite common in France, Germany, Spain and pretty much a given in Switzerland.

    I never thought of that, that would be 3400 without driver and luggage. Drivers and luggage is taken into account I presume?

    Driver + 50% full fuel tank.
