I am thinking of leaving my HSE job for a break. I will apply for a career break but may not get it.

How long of a gap is too long between this job and the next HSE one before it affects my pension? I started in 2007

    Thanks

A gap of of 26 weeks between jobs will mean a new pension scheme. Since you are most likely a post 2004 this could mean you go into the new 2013 single scheme.

Depends on your own unique situation obviously, above is just general information.
