Been a problem for years with Tesco esp. Item is "half price", "Discount", etc. Scan item and you get charged full price. It's the reason why I go to self-service so I can keep an eye on it. So this morning is there reduced to clear section there was a packet of chips half price. Of course, full price when I scanned them.…

It's the reason why I go to self-service so I can keep an eye on it.
So this morning is there reduced to clear section there was a packet of chips half price. Of course, full price when I scanned them. I got the item canceled.

Later on, I rang the store to inform them of the issue. They were not very happy with my call and clearly won't do anything.

They know full well people just put them into the trolley and if they get overcharged, they won't do anything about it.
