Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I wont be there as i mentioned on sunday, got an exam worth 85% of a subject on monday which im fairly shagged for so its study all night in the library.

    Will rule myself out of any training on sunday for the same reason

    This is a poor show lads - where's the posts from Mikie, Lepo, Colm, Bernie etc?

    Sav - we'll be setting a new level of expectations for next season and the current level of turnouts won't be accepted. That will be made 100% clear to everyone before any money is handed over, so hopefully we get a full squad that are committed to showing up for both a game and training each week. In fairness, that is an increase on the level of expectations that we had for the first season at the time people were signing up, though not letting us know one way or the other is still poor form.

    Sorry lads, just getting to have a look at the posts now.
    I can't make it tonight, I have college on Wed. nights and will do until the end of April. Any other night of the week for training/playing I have no problem committing to.

    I might be able to get someone normally but not at such short notice on a Champions League night.

    So there'll be a max of 5 other players from our squad there, and I'd prefer not to run much on that surface cos it's destroyed me when I did. So essentially I'd be going to watch a grand total of 5 of our players have a 3-on-3 kickabout? That's a big ask and I'm not happy bout that at all at all.

    I'll still be there if it's going ahead, just not happy about it though. Maybe there might be a spare head or two about that'll play.

    If we did want to call it off, would we be able to get in touch with the grand total of 6 players in time to let them know (Des might have their numbers)?

    yeh, fair play to those who turned up (total of 7 of our squad?), shouldn't have bothered trying to play myself but when you go all that way its hard not to. and thanks to those (Enda?) who brought the extras along - few handy players. That blondie fella and the chinese guy in the blue&green tracksuit bottoms were handy players and would strengthen our squad if they joined.
