hey guys, had fun yesterday XD just thought id come on and post.

placebo, were you the chun-li player i fought in groups and then in brackets(fars?)? your lk wasnt mapped? ack >.< you shouldve said something. (ps, its Holly btw ;p ). i remember going up against you in the brackets and thought "aw poo, thats me out already, hes gonna beat me again!" but i somehow managed to go on. had to change how i played during the tourney..seems to have helped somewhat :O im still crap at the game tho ^.^;;

did we play in sf3/blazblue choppers? :O

Anyone know the top 5 finishers if each game.

I know the winners of each but it would be nice to see a bigger listing.

I played two matches of Third Strike in casuals as Necro and wasn't bothered entering the comp. Turns out I probably could've placed quite high if I did

Didn't play BlazBlue at all. Far too mental for me.

As far as the SF4 tourny goes, it was something like:

Simon Lau
Paddy (theWitch)
Mike Guilfoyle and someone else (joint)?
Blag not too far behind

Third Strike
Nunko (pulled off a chun super II parry!!) Got one round on him though

Tsukiko_chan (holly)? Very good makoto playing with a megadrive stick!
Our own placebo not far behind

We were too late for the blazblue tourny.

Not sure of the rest as we left before it finished.

there were a few akumas in the group stages i watched over, but i dont recall any getting through.

Vyze (vaughan)(V13) won Blazblue. I think Stu(Ragnya) came second. i dont recall the other top players from BB as i was put out by stu in the brackets when i broke under the pressure :O

I believe Mr_kyle will prob put up a full description of the event and winners soon.

Yeah, I played an akuma in the group stage. Don't know his name but I'm pretty sure he was from the north.

I played as akuma in third strike!

Farz. Sorry Holly* , yeah i didnt map it, but it was half way through the first round and it wouldnt have been fair. You played well, i just played stupid, i did 3 jump in's and you easily HK'd them, i didnt even think of parrying, but i did eventually and tried my throw and pokes but no LK, really disappointed with myself.

But i havent played 3s in months, had to ask chopper what buttons caused a UOH !!!

By the way, I know a lot of you were just up last weekend but this weekend there is a slayers 24hour event going on in the same place so there's going to be plenty of SFIV and Blazblue being played for any of you that want to get some more practice in before SvB or just some practice in general.

I cant play AK in Third Strike.. Yun for me :P

But its such a pity, that not alot of people use him xD!

they were both great players, he won.
His parrying was great but he lost to me cause i could tell when he was going for parry baits and he left his denjin charge on too long.
