Its a painting by Sean Keating its called 'Men of the South', as far as I know one of the men in that painting should be Sean Moylan. I'll check it out for you when I get home.

    Up Freemount!

Anyone ever see the memorial on the road from Freemount to Newmarket?

There's a bad bend in the road that dips and crosses a stream. Some of the lads were scheduled to pick up weapons, [yes, I mean weapons], scheduled to be delivered from the Aud...

We all know how that one went.

    Thanks for the image.

Always loved that Seán Keating painting. He has a great biography if anybody's interested in his political evolution.

PS: Another painting I'd be interested in getting is Walter Paget's classic 'Birth of the Irish Republic', this one
