    We are having problems with our neighbours, including looking through our kitchen window. We want to point a camera through the window and hopefully catch him in the act. I have looked at Amazon and several reviews mention glare from the window glass and/or problems with IR lights. The footpath and garden area is well lit from street lights, but not 100% perfect.

    Ideally;
    * Under £50
    * WiFi and LAN
    * Night vision
    * Motion sensor

    Nice to have;
    * SD card
    * Cloud storage

    Suggestions please?

    Have seen a few set up with web cams, old phones and using this.
    30 days storage for free plus you get a notification to your phone if it detects movement allowing you view whats going on.

    The ir glare they mention is probably because its reflecting off the glass- so either miunt it outside. maybe set it at an angle to bounce the ir light away. But really- but recording through glass is not ideal.

    I would recomend hd cameras if you want to make out anything over a few feet away- look at youtube for comparisons. The cheap cameras can be really poor quality picture.

    No info - guessing its low resolution or they would say otherwise.

    I wouldnt...

    but major bad point if it doesnt record - so if anything did happen you would get an alarm but miss the event and have no record of it. (some wifi cameras do record to the cloud - so it might do that..)

    edit

    Found some more info on it here:

    It was for sale in Germany Lidl earlier this month for 39.99 ??

    Have Lidl copped on that they can get away with charging us more now as well? :(
