Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    In dublin. Maybe just the basics so i don't get overwhelmed.

    I guess that you're looking for something like a 10-week introduction to photography course, that some community schools around the country run.
    I was looking for one for a long time but didn't find anything as basic as that. I've ended up looking at courses on Linkedin Learning or on Udemy. Once you get the basics, it's easy enough to find tutorials and lessons on YouTube that help you learn a little at a time.
    I find it a slow way of learning and everytime I review my footage or do an edit I learn something new.
    If you have the basics from photography you're a long way there already, e.g. composition
