    Hi all,

My housemates machine washed a lambswool blanket I have and it's seemingly smaller with a different finish etc.

It was a gift that I believe cost quite a lot and I have absolutely disgusted to think that it may be destroyed...

Is there anyway I can restore it? Literally anything? It was such a meaningful gift to me and i am willing to try anything.

    Many thanks

Ah flip it...how annoying......I'm afraid there's nothing u can do. Once wool has srunken or anyway more course, it stays the way it is. It's not going to go back to what it once was.

I know Foxford woolen mills have 20% off everything, there expensive but would be a great replacement.

Thanks for that lilac. To add insult to injury the blanket did come from Foxford hahahaha

That is a shame! I know my mam has tried to revive a shrunk wool sweater by soaking it in water mixed with hair conditioner and then gently stretching it out. Might be an old wives solution, but if it's already ruined maybe worth a try?
