Disciplinary practices in both hero and villain ranks

In the extended Star Wars Canon, Darth Vader is punished by his boss for not protecting an AT AT factory which rests in its destruction. Darth Vader is sentences to muse amongst its ruins for a spell.

Or Wesley Crusher aptly disciplined for killing his fellow cadet by captain Picard.
It even in the Picard song!
Vader himself famously grabs a commander for his failure to perform sufficiently.

Outside star wars though there are other interesting acts of discipline enacted: captain kirk is demoted from admiral.

Are any any disciplinary acts which come to your mind as a hero fan or otherwise?
