Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.
Thanks all.

Today I saw an abandoned classic and took a pic thread!

This has been sitting in a neighbours garden for a fair few year now. Never any sign of work being done to it so it's sort of borderline abandoned.
I recognise the shape but I can't think what it is.

That's a great bloody shame. Is she not restorable at all? I know of many people who'd love to get their hands on that car...

What's the history on it, it's not original Irish is it? Because you should definitely keep it if it is.

    Sounds good !

Did you ever have any luck with the others I mentioned ?

In relation to the 3 Land Rovers over by the airport in Dublin.
I've been out there twice and in each case I was not allowed access to were they are. The place is a 24 hour truck stop and the security guy told me that I need the owners permission, but the owner has not been on site for the past few days, so, no access. I'll keep trying.
Security knew about the Land Rovers, knew who owns them, but wouldn't give anymore info.
So, another one in my GPS saved for later.

This Beetle is up a very, very muddy lane in Cavan. We were sinking in mud up to our welly tops and up to our knees at one point, and had to pull each other out of the mud with branches.

I don't know why a UK reg Beetle would be here. There's not much useable on it anymore. The cottage its outside of is long tumbled down, owner long dead ( I'm told) so if anyone wants to have a look, I'll tell you exactly where it is.

Right then. I came across this by pure chance the other week when at the Vet in Clondalkin. As you can see, looks like its for some sort of project or other. No reg plates that I could see and is partially covered.
