Hi, im looking to do an engine conversion on my 1997 colt from 1.3 to 1.6 mivec. Its a jap import car so the engine just drops in. I found an engine with a zr gearbox ecu wiring loom and driveshaft for 1100 quid. engine has 110k km on it and is fully serviced. He wants 500 quid to fit the engine. So 1600 for a full…

So you just went to a main dealer, they gave it a once over and gave you the report?

Hey guys i know this is a bit off topic but can anyone tell me where the engine number/code is located on 1.6 Mivec engine... Have a colt with a 1.6 put into it and i've got it stamped by a garage... I jus need to find the engine number before i send it off now to make it all legal...

If someone could tell me this it would be much appreciated...:)
