www.bettingzone.co.uk is a great site for tips. Very simple, uncluttered and even a medal rating system.

Goto the main page and just click on any of the articles, then scroll down and on the RIGHT HAND SIDE they have today's bets. Each bet is weighted (1pt, 2 pts etc.) and for top bets they have gold, silver and bronze medal. (see attachament)

I only bet on bronze, silver or any bets that have weight of 5 or higher.

always layed there bets off on betdaq

He must have only being laying off a FIVER as the liquidity on betdaq is....
easier to say they don't have any compared to betfair and most of their
    odds are worse.
I discovered this to my cost once trying to back a horse and decided to try betdaq who were slightly better commisiion rate.
Only got €25 matched and the balance even though Betfair odds were higher never got matched.
Horse won and I've never use them since.

I like playing poker online but havent actually put any money up yet. I play for points to enter tournaments on Pureplay. I also do Rehab bingo and I won a grand last night. That would be rare though.

    Has anyone used DublinBet.com ?

I use this site to pick potential winners/top ten finishers in US and European golf tournaments:

    http://www.golfpredictor.com

It's got loads of stats, charts and ranking for the entire field and all the results/stats since 2003. I've roughly doubled my money since I started using it, although I could do with another winner now. :)

It's cheap for the service it provides and you can have a look at a subset of the data for free. It is run by a small Irish company by the looks of it, so support local jobs in these troubled times!!

Not sure if any of you guys have seen Boylesports new betting news site. I've been following it for the last few weeks and it seems to be pretty good with odds and all. Something similiar to Betfair but because I bet with Boylesports it's more of use to me.

    Check it out: www.bettingnews.boylesports.com

Another good betting site that I'm always on is Bettor Logic. if you haven't used it then you will, as it is brilliant for stats on Premiership games. Gives a preview and a betting suggestion on a variety of sports events.

Will Hill have a new £100 Free Bet
    http://www.online-betting-guide.co.uk/news/18227370/William+Hill+Free+Bets+Announced.html

They're doing a buy one get one free thing as well. If you bet on big events they'll give you a Free £5 bet. You do use it on the Lions game this weekend and the Mens Wimbledon Final not on the womens final though for some reason:mad:

Instead of starting a new thread and facing a backlash, said I'd post here, has anyone else got a Ladbrokes OddsOn Card? Just want to know what the advamtages of it are plus maybe any disadvantages. I have one but havent used it yet, tried to register it online but it wont let me.Am I right in thinking that you get a free fiver bet for every day of a major meet? My bro tried for Galway but it wasnt classed as a major meet apparently :(

I think most of the online bookies offer free bets to join, its worth hoping around for the free bets,,,,

It all depends on what you want to bet on. A lot of bookies are now offering best odds guaranteed on horse racing so it's worth getting an account with one that offers that if you're into the horses. Boylesports usually do a decent cashback for football but they're not on all that often, while Paddy Power seems to do them more often but they're normally only cashbacks on certain markets. Ladbrokes prices are usually pretty good too.

Betfair or Boylesports.... Which should I go with?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,752 ✭✭✭wb

Betfair - it's a no brainer. The prices are almost always better.

Both. Betfair is streets ahead but to be honest it's so easy to deposit/withdraw on laser these days that it often pays to have accounts at a number of sites. Especially if your looking to get a double/treble on.

I'm not so sure about that, even Betfair don't really make that claim anymore. And by the time they take their cut there's not much difference.

    Hi,

I'm dealing with Circus Casino and want to withdraw money via bank transfer. Genting Alderney are the operators
    They're asking me for
    bank statement
    photo ID
and photocopy of front and back of bank card.

    Is this normal?
    cheers,
    Patrick

For horse racing betting I find thetote.com very good.
It's the site of Tote Ireland and very good for irish and uk racing - placepot and jackpot are two bets well worth looking at

signed up to the new indos website

    http://www.betpack.com/

free bet for 25 on site but if you use this code <SNIP> you get an fiver

odds seem better than powers but not as easy to navigate, only new so i'd say it will improve greatly but it has one very handy betting info in the information section

    http://livescore.betradar.com/dev/statistics/betpack/

tables, results, head to heads, recent form etc- very handy for soccer,

    rugby,nfl,snooker etc

apparently you'll be able to lodge cash into shop soon but they werent ready for that when i enquired, as i said its pretty brand new

PP notoriously have the worst odds in the industry. Theyy compensate with poxy offers like

"if your horse finishes 2nd, within a short head of the SP fav doing the moon walk, we'll give you your money back"

Although they guarantee prices on multiples ;)

i wouldnt say paddys are worse than betpak as betpak use stan james prices who are one of the quickest to update their prices

anybody ever use www.interwetten.com ? open an account and dont put any money into it and after about 10 days they credit you a freee fiver! i had managed to build mine up to 85 (before losing it again)

The only drawback is no horse racing bets
