Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Good grief, there is a gale blowing around our house since this afternoon! Positively freezing off the Wicklow Gap. It’s a north wind. I know this because it’s the only wind that refuses to allow heat to circulate in the house. Is this Northerly to bring anything with it apart from the lids of a few lids from Christmas Celebrations boxes?

    Went for a walk this afternoon. About 80 percent of the lake was frozen over with a crust of ice... impressive!

    One of the coldest feeling days of the Winter so far. Cloud rolled in around 9am and stayed embanked for the day. I recorded a Max solar reading of just 7 W/m2 @ 12:43. Max temp was 5.7c. Currently its 4.6c with a Easterly at 20km/h

    Similar day in Tralee, started off very cold, calm and frosty getting as low as -3.8C ,rose slowly during the morning only getting above freezing around noon.

    Clouded over mid morning making it feel very cold without any sunlight and both wind and temps have been rising this evening now at 6.5C and wind 10 min avg of 27 km/h getting up to 43 km/h SE.
