Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    So the week starts with the collapse of teachers action and no matter what you say teachers/Asti looked bad. Then I lose a fair amount on USA presidential election. Had major row with husband. Not related to above. Now my lap top is broke beyond repair.
    I don't want to be judged on any of the above. I know I should not gamble .
    Misery loves company

    Gambling's a mug's game.


    I thought I was flush with cash, relatively, then a load of unexpected expenses came out cos other people can't manage their money well, so now I'm nearly skint. A 'friend' of mine who always asks for money and favours, didn't think to invite me to his birthday do. And it's ****ing freezing. I usually prefer it cold, but its not doing me any favours right now.

    My missus ran off with the postman and my dog died. I'm waiting for my truck to break down so I can write a country and western song about it.

    My dad started chemotherapy on Monday.

    I found out they're remaking 'An American Werewolf in London' on Tuesday.

    Trump became President on Wednesday.

    My car wouldn't start today.


    I'm hoping next week is a bit better :o

    Unfortunately I'm looking at a looong week at work (it gets mad busy this time of year) and I have two 12 hour overtime shifts to contend with tomorrow and Tuesday.

    But hey, at least I have a job, it's extra money in the bank and it'll keep my mind off everything else. There's always a silver lining, right? ;)

    I had money and car broke down, leaving me €20 till next Friday. My dishwasher is broken, no money to fix or replace it and my boyfriend refused me sex twice this week.

    Trump too for me ruined the week... His pout, that Des Kelly remnant on his head, that thing he does with his thumb and forefinger... Only the thoughts of Melonia beside him every time makes it easier. What a lovely couple she is.

    Strike was mainly about equality for new teachers. Not moi I'm old. This is not place to debate this
