is AJ just not the horse Hugh Cahill thinks she is........................?!

I was shouting for Apples Jade at the finish. Happy to see If The Cap Fits get up though.

Game performance from AJ, not at her best, jumping right, never seemed focused. I thought she'd throw the towel in at some point.

Lads that's as good as apples jade is, I told yas there wasn't much between her and roksana on a line through benie and that race just proved it.

I don't think Roksana would have been anywhere near as close to her in the Hattons Grace. Apples Jade wasn't at her best there IMO

Excuse after excuse for apples jade, benie de deuix is the best mare in training

Interested in Red Giant in the next. Second in a race that is working out pretty well in November. The winner hasn't come out since but is entered in the Scottish and Irish Nationals. The two in behind have won since and the horse has obviously been kept for spring ground.

    40/1 looks an underestimation.

Eventually people will have to stop making excuses for AJ's form post February

Its like Road 2 Respect, there always seems to be an excuse ....

    Did Kennedy drop his stick?

Apple's Jade will still be very hard to beat in the Grade 1s next winter.

I disagree, I think she's just over the top and had too many races this season. In hindsight she was too far forward when winning by so far in the earlier races here against decent but not fully fit opposition. I think if Elliott had it again he'd bring her along slower so she's peaking in March/April.

She was unfortunately, a fantastic mare but not a superstar.
It's lads like yourself that haven't got a clue when you constantly say she under performs every time she doesn't win.
