Internal domestic CCTV - Mod Snip

Hi all, I hope you can give me a little advice here. We have a problem with one of the kids is (Mod edit) " eating too many treats" in the house so as a deterrent we want to put in a very basic CCTV system so we can train a camera on the fridge (mod Snip)

Really wouldn't need Hi-Res for this and I'm trying to keep the cost as low as practicable. What kind of systems should I be looking at?

Looks interesting. I've seen a few like it on Wish for less money but I am always dubious about that site.

For something simple + low cost there's several apps available that would allow you use an old or spare android phone as a security camera, some with motion detection and / or live video streaming.

I have blink cameras you can get on Amazon.

No wiring and app on table/phone plays you the clips and even notifies of movement.

Yes I've been looking at some of them, they seem like the most practical option.

Couple of things.
I've changed the title of the thread as the wording was possibly misleading.

This is not the parenting forum. If someone wants to put a camera in to watch their fridge so be it.

Potential invasion of privacy issues around CCTV cameras exist with every installation of a camera.

Please keep the advice on topic.
