    I'm a bit confused.
OP started a Cork city thread in 2017 about living on a boat, and also this thread about Cork in Sailing & Boating - revived by OP in 2019.
Now OP have started a thread in Galway city forum.

Are you just a dreamer OP or do you actually intend to do something?

Good evening everyone, I found this topic here about this very little talked about subject about living aboard in Cork, my wife and I came to Cork to study and work, we always had a dream of buying a sailboat and living on it, learning everything about sailing and then going with him to other places, only in Ireland we don't find many people talking about it, does anyone know of a site or group on the internet that I can research and talk to, our intention would be to live in a marina first so we can gain experience and confidence in sailing
    thanks

There are not many options for liveabords in Ireland most marinas don't allow it anymore probably to do with insurance, there is a Facebook group that might be able to help you out "liveaboardsireland". https://www.facebook.com/groups/liveaboardsireland
